Overall Record will be needed
editIt's fine to leave it blank for now, but the overall record will be needed for the postseason games, to include the SEC Championship Game, as these would not count toward the conference record. Benhen1997 16:07, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
Georgia Co-Champions
editIt is my understanding from this document from the SEC that Georgia is treated as a co-champion of the Eastern division. If they had the head-to-head advantage on Florida but both still had the same records (i.e. Florida is 8–2, Georgia is 7–2, Georgia is 1–0 vs. Florida), then Georgia would be treated the same as having an 8–2 record, and be the division representative in the championship game. Florida would also be a co-champion in this scenario. However, since Florida is the division representative, the logic is a bit more complicated to follow, but I believe still holds. Also, there is no need for the championship game participant to be next to Alabama because there is no other Western division co-champion. Benhen1997 04:05, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
