Parameters
- url (optional): the address of the page we've used

- author (optional): author of page
- accessdate (optional): date page last checked
- unnamed parameter: to label a section or list
URLs
The State Department periodically archives its website. The URLs move. This can cause URLs on Wikipedia to break.
The archive domains:
Example: https://www.state.gov/s/ct/rls/rm/07/83999.htm moved to https://2001-2009.state.gov/s/ct/rls/rm/07/83999.htm
If a URL https://www.state.gov stops working, try the three archive versions. Note that sometimes page dates and archive dates do not match eg. a page from 2005 might be in the 2009-2017 archive. Not all pages are archived, in which case an external archive such as the WaybackMachine might be checked. The new URL might also be found by searching on the document title at the current state.gov website.
