- date
- The scheduled start and finish dates for the match.
- team1
- Before the match starts, this is the home team. After the match starts, this is the team that bats first.
- team2
- Before the match starts, this is the away team. After the match starts, this is the team that fields first.
- result
- The result of the match, in the format "[winning team] won by [winning margin]". Do not use the {{cr}} template for this parameter.
- report
- A link to the match scorecard, usually from espncricinfo.com.
- venue
- The ground and town/city where the match was played.
- umpires
- The names and nations of the on-field umpires.
- motm
- The name and team of the player named as "man of the match", if applicable.
- toss
- The result of the coin toss, in the format "[team] won the toss and elected to [bat/field]."
- rain
- Details of any delays in play, whether for rain or bad light.
- notes
- Any relevant notes about the match, other than the result of the toss or delays in play.
Scorecard

- (i.e. score-team1-inns1, score-team1-inns2, etc.) Team n's total for the mth innings, in the format "[runs]/[wickets] ([overs] overs)" (or "[wickets]/[runs] ([overs] overs)" in Australia).
- runs-teamn-innsm
- Batting team's top run-scorer in the innings. (Tiebreaker: fewer balls faced)
- wickets-teamn-innsm
- Bowling team's top wicket-taker in the innings. (Tiebreaker: fewer runs conceded; then fewer overs bowled) Leave blank if no bowler took a wicket.
