This template is used to generate individual player entries in baseball roster lists.

Usage

• To use:

{{MLBplayer|number|name}}

If the player is on the injured list:

{{MLBplayer|number|name|IL}}

If the player is on personal leave:

{{MLBplayer|number|name|#}}

Template parameters[Edit template data]

This template prefers inline formatting of parameters.

Parameter		Description	Type	Status
Number	1	The player number. Example 36	Number	required
Name	2	The name of the player. Should be wikilinked. Example [[Sam Freeman (baseball)|Sam Freeman]]	Content	required
Injured list/personal leave.	3	If the player is on the disabled list, use "IL". For personal leave, use "#".	String	optional
