This template must be used as a editnotice on pages that have active contentious topic restrictions. When using this template you must specify what contentious topic this page is under using one of the decision codes, and also specify at least one restriction that has been placed on the page. If there are no active restrictions on the page then Template:Contentious topics/editnotice should be used instead.
Usage of this template will place the editnotice in Category:Wikipedia arbitration enforcement current sanctions unless nocat is set.
