Tarhan-e Sharqi Rural District

Tarhan-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان طرهان شرقي)[a] is in Tarhan District of Kuhdasht County, Lorestan province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Garab.[3]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 5,531 in 1,068 households.[4] There were 5,094 inhabitants in 1,186 households at the following census of 2011.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 3,909 in 1,082 households. The most populous of its 13 villages was Dom Rustan, with 1,113 people.[2]
