References

edit

There is a reference problem here. A Tale of Love and Darkness is a novel, even if it contains autobiographical elements. Hence, it is not a "reliable source" for backing up statements on Wikipedia.--Gilabrand (talk) 13:47, 29 December 2008 (UTC) I don't think it is a novel. I think it is a memoir. The names are all of real actual people. No indication that it is fiction, or even fictionalized. Das Baz, aka Erudil 21:40, 6 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Modern Hebrew Poetry

edit

Chronologically, this period covers a lot of time: the late 19th century, all of the 20th century, and the early 21st century. Das Baz, aka Erudil 21:40, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Contradiction in Wikipedia articles?

edit

Was she born in Poland (like in the English article) or in Yekatrinoslav (like in the Hebrew article [1] ) or in Chernigov (like here: http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/judaica/ejud_0002_0021_0_21466.html) ? This last source doesn't seem to be accurate, as her father was definitely not the Rov there (her grandfather could have been, but that's the next question)

Was her mother Sefardi (like in the English article) or a descendant of the Radatz (http://chabadpedia.co.il/index.php?title=%D7%93%D7%95%D7%93_%D7%A6%D7%91%D7%99_%D7%94%D7%99%D7%A8%D7%A9_%D7%97%D7%9F) (like in the Hebrew article [2])?
