editDid 4Kids silence Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal before the (attempted) termination of the Yu-Gi-oh! silences? Or did they never silence Zexal in the first place?--205.122.232.55 (talk) 01:05, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
- What do you mean? The contract with 4Kids has been terminated (due to a lawsuit) and now Konami is responsible for the English Dubbed version. LightandDark2000 (talk) 06:24, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Title For Episode 1
editDoesn't The Title Translate To "Bring It To 'Em", Not The Stated One? --Beyblade4D (talk) 02:38, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
- No. Looking at the Kanji and romaji, the current one looks correct. Ore (Me). DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 03:41, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
Kattobingu
editSo does anyone have a solid translation for what 'Kattobingu', Yuma's catchphrase, means? It's been ranging from everything to 'flaring up', 'pop flying', 'sky flying', etc. Wonchop (talk) 02:46, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
- 4Kids Entertainment's English dub version translates it to High-Five the Sky. LightandDark2000 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 23:46, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

editIs Yuma Tsukumo related to someone in the previous Yu-Gi-Oh shows(Yu-Gi-Oh!,GX,5D's)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.71.50.60 (talk) 17:19, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
- His name has similar roots (Notice Yugi, Yuki (Jaden Yuki), Yusei) but no, he is not really related to any of them. You can see the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia articles for more information. LightandDark2000 (talk) 06:23, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
No Information Allowed
editI've noticed there's a lot of dislike for actual information being put down on this article. Attempts to explain the concepts of Xyz Monsters are always removed despite the fact that the 5D's article has two sections dedicated to Synchro Monsters and Duel Runners. This kinda leaves out a lot of things for people, particularly those who watch the shows but aren't interested in the trading card game. I know there's apparently this thing about not being a game guide but you need to leave something to explain to people. Same seems to go for mentioning of opening themes, which are perfectly fine in every other anime article, ever.Wonchop (talk) 18:13, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
- Opening and ending themes are placed in episode articles. I didn't remove the XYZ monster information and you skipped over the edit that removed it so I assumed you were fine with it. 5Ds is an overdetailed article which needs to be cleaned up. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 21:03, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
- In almost every other anime article, opening and ending themes get listed, even if they are also placed in the episode lists. Kinda seems unfair to leave that kind of information for people to seek out in sub-articles. Personally I think the 5D's article has good enough detail that explains the things that can't really be explained in other articles. If you really wanna go to town on editing, you should see the GX character articles, with about a zillion side characters having their own articles. Wonchop (talk) 19:50, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
- Those are not good articles to be following. See Tokyo Mew Mew, an FA, or Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. As for the characters in GX, they can be merged unless they have established notability (WP:Notability); Most likely no editor has done it as of late. See List of Naruto characters, a featured list. See here where I have discussed about your edits. As for the theme music, you can always create a discography page such as Case Closed discography. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 21:49, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
- If you look at the history of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, you can see that the soundtrack information was first developed in the main article, before apparently being split off into the music article. I feel this article would also benefit from this approach, as the article is new, and needs time to undergo the editing process. The editing policy states that perfection is not required - I would suggest that, furthermore, the perfect article does not exist, and that in most cases, it took many years and many hands for the featured and good articles you're pointing out to get that good. --Malkinann (talk) 01:18, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, I will fold for the theme songs. As for indepth detail, I'm going to prevent this article from becoming 5ds which acts as a game guide or over detailed sections like synchro and duel runner. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 05:40, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
- Cheers - please be careful not to bite the newbies, though. How do you go about interpreting the Oricon pages to make a notable discography? --Malkinann (talk) 05:55, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
- True. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.71.48.207 (talk) 19:18, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
- Forget what the reverters think. You have a right to contribute positively to this and any other article. Be bold. LightandDark2000 (talk) 06:21, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Still The Same Series!
editI Dont Know Why but ZEXAL is Still On Going Starting with the show's fourth arc, the show was advertised under the name Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL II (pronounced zay-al [IPA: zeɪal] sekando in Japanese, pronounced zek-sul second in English), but both NAS and TV Tokyo classify it as the same show, with the episode numbers continuing from where it was left off instead of returning to the start. The Episodes Are Still Going On Not Back to 1 its Confusing,Do I Have to Do it And Get Rid of The ZeXal II Page Even if it reverts i Will Still Continue it The Episodes 1-Present ZEXAL II is Starting its Forth Arc Called ZEXAL II I Dont Care if You Guys Keep Putting Separated I Keep Doing and Add Episode 74 And The Rest Please Classified Starting with the show's fourth arc, the show was advertised under the name Yu-Gi-Oh! - Why are you capitalizing in the wrong places? Anyways, TV Tokyo does the same thing for Naruto shippuden and Gintama where they continue the numbers. Meanwhile List of The World God Only Knows episodes restarts the number count but an editor chooses to add a series number in there since they continue the story. Its up to personally preferences as far as I know right now and the choice goes to whoever edits it. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 05:23, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
- It is not Season 2. It isn't exactly the same series, despite the continuation. Besides, Zexal already has 3 seasons of its own. Also, Zexal and Zexal II more like Yu-Gi-Oh! (1998 TV series) and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. Oh, and you are capitalizing the wrong letters. Official English Dub title is Zexal (despite the bold title card). LightandDark2000 (talk) 06:27, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
- Although Zexal II is a series all by itself, I concede that the show is a direct continuation of Zexal. That is why I changed the episode count for Zexal II to make the chronological sequence flow more smoothly. However, it turns out that not everybody is happy about this change (although this was to be expected). I had to revert several unexplained edits by an IP in order to keep the changes, but hopefully things will work out. LightandDark2000 (talk) 22:51, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal video game
editWhen will the English version of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal 3DS game come out? Wikimaster 3 (talk) 01:02, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
Title
editShouldn't the title be Yu-Gi-Oh! Zeal, not Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal? The WP:MOSTM states "Avoid using special characters that are not pronounced, are included purely for decoration...". Though written ZEXAL, the X is purely for decoration, as is obvious from both the logo and the kana. It could just have easily been a different symbol, like a heart: ZE♥AL. It's the same thing with the X in Hunter × Hunter, though in that case, Wikipedia uses multiplication sign. Linkdude20002001 (talk) 21:34, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
- WP:COMMONNAME states to use the name that is commonly used in reliable English-language sources. And they universal use Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal. —Farix (t | c) 01:12, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
- Also, in the English version the x is pronounced meaning this this is not a fancy spelling of zeal. The MOSTM does not apply here.--67.68.163.254 (talk) 20:54, 28 May 2016 (UTC)
