Cleanup
editI added a cleanup tag, the formating is choppy as if someone cut and paste text in, paragraphs need to be combined, bullet lists removed and replaced with written blocks of text. It also needs to be checked for possible copyvio as parts look like it was cut and paste. 71.191.137.121 (talk) 03:11, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
"Rig"
editFor some reason beyond my comprehension, the Judea is repeatedly referred to as "the rig". As far as I can determine this term does not appear in the text. In fact we do not learn what rig the Judea actually was, although it might not be too far fetched to think she might have been a brig or even a brigantine. The rig of a sailing vessel is a word used to describe how the sail plan is organized. The word rig is also applied to the large trucks used for road haulage. Maybe the word rig can simply be replaced by ship. Everybody got to be somewhere! (talk) 22:36, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
- Actually the ship is several times designated as a barque. I have made the appropriate changes. ~ Alcmaeonid (talk) 15:16, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
Marlow
editThe text has "It is narrated by Charles Marlow who is also the narrator of Lord Jim and Chance." Marlowe was also the narrator of Heart of Darkness.83.249.105.199 (talk) 18:05, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
