G UNIT CONTROVERSY
editsomeone needs to add a sourced section, in detail to the g unit controversy and with 50 cent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Youngbyrd (talk • contribs) 17:53, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

editI have removed unsourced content that nowhere, nohow meets the stringent requirements of WP:BLP. Please do not add unsourced content or revert edits that remove unsourced content unless you add references that cite reliable sources. If you need help finding or verifying little known sources, please ask for help, but the kind of gossip that is being added to this article will be reverted all day long. Part 25 Sabrina's Boy
editThe part about Part 25 Sabrina's Boy has been mentioned twice. We only need it to be mentioned once. Can someone edit that? Thanks. 67.85.80.5 (talk) 23:19, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Iranian immigrant?!
edit"Buck's mother is an Iranian immigrant and he is proud of his Iranian heritage.[citation needed]"- this is an obvious lie, as i doubt you can find a source for this and in no way does he look iranian....Therefore i have decided to remove it from the article, untill a credible source can be found for this piece of information - c_falco 23:08, 14th May, 2008
When is someone going to edit this page?
editHello, for the past week now, Young Buck and The Game have been firin shots at 50 Cent because recently 50 kicked Buck off. It should be added in the contreversy section that Buck is beefing with G-Unit now that he's gone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.96.86.112 (talk) 05:19, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- It's true it should be added but at the moment it's moving at such a rapid pase that it would mean keep adding new things to it every minute, also there is to many false rumours flying around.- c Falco 13:14, 21 June 2008 (GMT)
- Yes i agree with that but still this information is to important to leave out i think there shuld atleast be information that a beef has been sparked it doesnt have to be added word for word each second theres a development but just add clearly non rumored details like 50 cent recording young buck crying and young buck dissing 50 on the song "the Taped Convesation" you could put buck's supposed new found friendship with the game on there due to the game shouting buck out on his latest diss on g unit but thats optional i think.
- Come on guys this beef is kicking off now, Spider Loc (originally introduced by Buck to 50 cent) has fired shots at buck and a whole things starting there as well, its time something went up on here about the Buck/G-Unit beef! This is huge! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.0.97.129 (talk) 00:15, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
In the article it is mentioned that he has been removed from the group. We should wait for things to calm down before anymore info is added. WP:RECENTISM. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 14:26, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
When this gets edited to put the 50 cent-phone call beef on the page, please don't mask him crying. What I mean is, don't say, "Young buck was very emotional"... Say "Young Buck was crying". Fan or not of buck's, you can't deny this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.1.173.225 (talk • contribs)
- Its true he was crying however this would still sound bias towards 50 cent in my opinion so i think emotional should be added! - —Preceding unsigned comment added by C falco (talk • contribs)
- I don't think it would be biased. I mean, he was crying after all, and 'emotional' really doesn't describe that. Anger could be emotional, right? It Also adds more sense to why 50 would release it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.1.173.225 (talk • contribs)
Damn Buck's even hopping on a mixtape with Game, and this thing STILL hasnt been changed?! You keep saying that you'll wait till it develops, do you not realise Buck has dissed G-Unit, united with ex-member Game, and the lesser members of G-Unit are already taking shots at buck? Surely that deserves mention? Hip-hop fans are the ones visiting this page, and hip-hop fans deserve to know this thing if they somehow dont already! Whoevers blocking this obviously doesnt understand how big this is... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.31.47.100 (talk) 16:07, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hey everybody, I thought I'd come help moderate this page if that's alright. I agree with G-Unit Boss about how it shouldn't all be added at once. Now, I don't know about many of you, but I haven't seen anything confirming Buck was going to be doing a mixtape with Game. I am aware that Game has recorded a remix to Buck's diss, and Game has reached out to him and such. I personally think this deserves a mention in the feud with Game section. (The fact that Game seems to have ended feuding with Buck and has been shouting and reaching out to him.) But I also agree that it is all happening way too fast to be added. Just an opinion. --JpGrB 09:29, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
Also Buck was in the "My Life" video with Game & Weezy...? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.78.195.167 (talk) 02:05, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Laugh Now, Cry Later Diss Song
editYoung Buck just put out a diss track aimed at G-Unit "Laugh Now, Cry Later". How come nobody mentioned this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.171.37.115 (talk) 01:23, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
- Young Buck has left G Unit. He recently released a song called Terminate On Site aimed at G-Unit. He is also collaborating on a mixtape with The Game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.229.91.2 (talk) 02:00, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Young Buck left G-Unit!
editThere are lots of stuff on the internet, I think for now its safe to put this as a rumor but it has not yet been confirmed! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.96.85.49 (talk) 06:37, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
- He's definately left, he has recorded a diss song toward 50 Cent, and there is a remix with The Game aswell. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.102.198.200 (talk) 00:43, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Buck/Game.
editWell, since people keep loving to add that they've worked together and such, yet without sources, I thought I'd add this. I'm sure some of you have seen it, and I still personally don't think that it should be added quite yet, but it's at least something. --JpGrB 02:58, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- There are a couple problems with that links, primarily that it does not pass as a reliable source (its a blog?) and second that it requires a special login to access the information. If it has not been documented by reliable third party publications we probably shouldn't include it to avoid any WP:UNDUE weight. JBsupreme (talk) 01:34, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- You might want to bring this question up on the WP:BLPN, as I am fairly certain this does not constitute a reliable source. Even administrators are capable of making mistakes, we're all human. JBsupreme (talk) 01:52, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
Recent.
editI think things have calmed down that certain things could begin to be added to the page. Any thoughts? --JpGrB 00:57, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- You mean, of course, adding only "certain things" that are sourced strictly according to policy regarding biographies of living people? Otherwise, it's just a never-ending cycle of add and delete. Flowanda | Talk 01:42, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- Oh yes, following Wikipedia's policies. But by "certain things", I meant about the fact that he left, some of the "arguments" they've made, etc. If you understand. --JpGrB 01:45, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- Not really. Flowanda | Talk 02:21, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- I'm tired and about half of the remaining sources are either non-notable or dead.
- Seriously, does everybody get that the content included in Wikipedia articles has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not the subject or anything/one related "approved" it or wants it here?
- Source your content and links per WP:RS, or let it stay on myspace or youtube or wherever dot com, no matter who or what the video or article contains.
- Not really. Flowanda | Talk 02:21, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

- Again: WP:RS
- Again: WP:BLP
- Flowanda is right. Under the current circumstances I do not support unprotecting this article. There are serious WP:BLP issues still ongoing even today, so I see no rush here. JBsupreme (talk) 03:24, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
I have begun removing content that has been been restored without comment or allowed to remain even though its sources do not meet WP:RS. Please be aware of the stringent sourcing per WP:BLP; information that does not meet those standards can be removed without regard to WP:3RR. Please discuss the readdition of any content and sourcing here first; otherwise, it will be removed. This is an article about a real, living person, and Wikipedia policy is completely clear as to how these articles are to be edited. Flowanda | Talk 23:14, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
No more mass reverts without explanation or discussion
editYet again, edits made with detailed explanations via edit summaries and discussions initiated on this and other article talk pages have been reverted in one of several single mass reverts by admin User:The-G-Unit-Boss without any explanation or discussion. Please stop editing this way or provide specific helpful explanations as to why each of these edits continue to be reverted...or warn me or report me or block me, but I no longer consider such reverts without comment as credible, especially when they are made by an admin on an article that must abide by WP:BLP. Beef with 50 Cent?
editI haven't edited anything yet due to lack of sources, but as of late Young Buck has released several diss tracks aimed at 50 Cent and G-Unit along with former G-Unit member The Game. Does Young Buck have a "beef" with 50 Cent? Driveus (talk) 12:45, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
- We have discussed this in much detail and I'm fairly sure we've gained a consensus that it still counts as recentism. --HELLØ ŦHERE 12:47, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
The Game and Young Buck have resolved their beef, everyone. Hey just did a song together called "Hate on Us" and Buck was on Game's "My Life" music video. Sooo, can somebody fix the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.99.12.75 (talk) 02:35, 31 March 2009 (UTC) young buck has reheated the beef when 50 cent released a diss track on young buck and the game and the young buck released a track called happy new years on januray,1,2010 and in the track he disses tony yayo, 40 glocc, and 50 cent so you guys should edit young bucks page i would do it but mine gets deleted every time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Boston2beantown (talk • contribs) 16:36, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

No Longer On Interscope
editYoung Buck said himself in an interview that he isnt on interscope anymore http://www.rapbasement.com/young-buck/061609-young-buck-talks-about-surving-the-music-business-says-he-never-stops-his-hustle.html
Also on the song Letter To The Labels he says "Jimmy Didnt Really Want To Let Me Go from Interscope" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.3.47.197 (talk) 01:59, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
Yeah Under Labels —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.3.47.197 (talk) 02:39, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
- When I hit to search within the page and type "Interscope" nothing appears. And the song is not proof enough without a reliable source. It may also be considered recentism and not shouldn't necessarily be mentioned until it's been reported by more than just himself. He stated numerous times he was to have nothing with G-Unit anymore, yet he later stated that he is still signed to 50's label and must work with him. So let's just wait. --HELLØ ŦHERE 02:52, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
Associated acts
editi dont think Buck is Associated with G-Unit anymore and y isnt he Associated with The Game & Lil' Wayne?
- Whether he is in the group or not, he's spent much of his career with them and, here's the key word associating them. The reason Game and Wayne are not listed is because they haven't relased anything in the mainstream except the one appearance on Game's one remix. Everythign else is underground releases which, the legality of may be questioned. --HELLØ ŦHERE 21:33, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
What about the song "Hate On Us" Young Buck & The Game or the song "Up's and Down's" Young Buck & Lil Wayne also Lil Wayne and Young Buck have a Collaboration album together called "From Cashville To Hollygrove" so doesnt this make Buck asociated with Lil Wayne?
- Are these songs found on mixtapes or legitimate albums? If they are mixtape tracks they're not proper. --HELLØ ŦHERE 19:02, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
- The abuse of the "Associated acts" field in rap biographies is sickening. It is a filler field to begin with and should be removed from the template all together. If there is something significant about one musicians association with another, describe it in prose form with reliable third party sources! JBsupreme (talk) 16:51, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
- "Hate On Us" is on a Game Mixtape and "Up's and Down's" is on a collab album with Lil Wayne. Also Young Buck used to be signed to Lil Waynes label so i think he sould be associated. Also Buck & Wayne did a show together recently check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjzgU5or6tU&NR=1 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.3.41.245 (talk) 23:04, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- Mixtapes are not reliable sources nor particularly noteworthy. And the fact that they were signed doesn't necessarily mean anything. As far as I remember, I may be incorrect, but Bishop Lamont and Eminem are on the same label but have not been featured on a song together. As I said, I may be wrong. But if that's the case we'd have to list every single person on both G-Unit Records and Cash Money Records. Did Buck and Wayne record any number of tracks while they were labelmates? If so, then it can probably be added, but if it's only because they used to be on the same label, then that doesn't hold much weight. --HELLØ ŦHERE 23:30, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

- There are no present reliable sources stating thee acts are collaborating in any sense, shows included. If you can provide a reliable, third party source which states they are performing with each other, I would be more than happy to add them myself. But mixtape tracks, etc. are not reliable enough. --HELLØ ŦHERE 07:56, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

- The photo doesn't matter, it's the fair use and such that does. whether it was taken with G-Unit or not. Also, he is still associated with them. Even if he does not record another track with them in his life, up until this point he has spent the majority of his main label career associating and recording tracks with G-Unit. As for the label issue, he is still signed to G-Unit Records, therefore, we leave it. whether he is trying to get off or not, it doesn't matter, he still is there. And as for Interscope, it is the same as Dr. Dre being listed as being signed to Death Row, in his infobox. All labels an artist is or was signed to should be in the infobox. For more, please check out other pages and such and the discussions above. --HELLØ ŦHERE 18:20, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
