Hello,
I received a message that the article I created on Yemi Fawaz is up to speedy deletion and I beg to disagree. Firstly, on what grounds are you deleting it? The contest on Decolonise the internet stated Nigerian heroines. Is the name not worthy of building a wiki page for? The first Nigerian Super Model that paved the way for others? What is your Idea of "heroines"? I took out time to do good research and structured a story for our own hardworked Lady. Fortunately, Yemi is dead and I didn't know her but I was inspired by her sheer hardwork. Why would you deny her a space in Wikipedia or are we restricted to those only names you brought out to us? Please,I pray you don't delete this beautiful piece. Tell me what to do to make it stick. I will visit the page again tomorrow to add links to it. Do please consider the hardwork I put in this. I told our African story in our own way. Nobody outside of us can tell it better.
