How is it a "name" article?
editAsh Crow, this entry contains nothing more than a list of unrelated people AND an organization sharing the same name. It doesn't contain any information whatsoever about the name itself. So, please explain WHY is it not a disambiguation page and BY WHAT VIRTUE is it an "article about a name"? --Deinocheirus (talk) 18:35, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
- Read the article... "Yamagishi (written: 山岸) is a Japanese surname". The organization is in the "See also" section. -Ash_Crow (talk) 18:42, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
- I've read it, thank you, there is really not much to read. What exactly do I learn about this "Japanese surname" (ONLY surname? Not ever a first name?) from the article? How is it different from the entries in three other Wikipedias that a Wikidata link has to be broken with them? --Deinocheirus (talk) 18:51, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
- I also concur with Deinocheirus that this page is currently just a disambiguation in disguise, and should be re-linked to the other entries at d:Q2599122. When a more thorough article on the surname be written, it should go under the title Yamagishi (surname). —capmo (talk) 15:58, 12 April 2018 (UTC)
