It's rather misleading to refer to Derrida as someone "influenced" by deconstruction--after all, he founded the movement known by the same name. I suggest that this article (if it can be called an article) be rewritten with an eye toward the Yale School's historical influence in American literary criticism. Job L 08:21, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, I posted this comment almost a month ago, and nobody's responded, so I've edited the first paragraph myself to make clear that Derrida is not merely "influenced" by deconstruction but rather its founder. And the article still needs expanding; hopefully I'll have some time to provide some more of the context and legacy of the Yale school in the near future. Job L 00:27, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
