In regards to the logo I uploaded, I specified that the one I uploaded was a screencapture from the DVD of the event, and therefore, was used at the event. On that grounds, I believe that it should be used on this article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kyle C Haight (talkcontribs)

The current one is the one I remember seeing. It's also the one on the VHS tape, the one used at wwe.com, and at every other source I can see. I think your might have been an alternate logo. TJ Spyke 22:23, 11 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:WrestleMania VIII (curved).jpg

edit

Image:WrestleMania VIII (curved).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Mistake on page

edit

On the facts section it states that this is the first Wrestlemania where Hulk Hogan did not possess the WWE Championship or participate in a match involving the title. This is wrong, Hulk Hogan did not have the Championship going into Wrestlemania 4, i attempted to fix but my correction was deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.107.214.120 (talk) 12:24, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Technically he was involved in a title match at WM4, I would consider his tournament match with Andre participating in a match involving the title. He also assisted Macho Man in the tournament finals. (Loosie (talk) 16:40, 1 December 2008 (UTC))Reply
This is kinda tricky. He was involved in the title tournament, but technically didn't compete for the title as he didn't make it to the final match (it would be like saying a NFL team eliminated in the divisional round of the playoffs as competing for the Super Bowl title). Ric Flair Fine

edit

I noticed the indication for 'citation needed' for Flair being fined for blading himself. I watched the match, and I never saw something specific where he 'bladed himself on camera.' Should this not be corrected, or a proper citation be provided?
