Big Update/Expansion
editHey everyone, I made some pretty substantial updates and contributions to the page as part of a Wiki education course. I'm a new user so if I made any crucial errors please go ahead and fix them! Thanks! --Njpierce16 (talk) 00:00, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
Name that canyon
editI just noticed that an anonymous user recognized a problem that I've noticed before, but didn't know what to do with. While his revision is technically correct, it may confuse locals, because there is a canyon east of Woodland Park that is commonly and incorrectly referred to as "Ute Pass".
So my question is, does anyone know what that canyon's real name is? There is a hiking trail head in the middle of the canyon, and the trail is labeled as being for "Waldo Canyon"; however, I'm not sure if that is the same canyon that US Highway 24 runs through. Anyone know for sure?
Thanks! -- Ken g6 19:11, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- Just a little update: this map and this legend show that the Waldo Canyon trail does not follow US 24. So the canyon appears not to be Waldo Canyon.
- Several sites give the name "Fountain Creek Canyon", which is what I would expect a canyon containing Fountain Creek to be named, but none is what I call a reliable source. I haven't yet decided to call it that.
Climate
editThat climate data looks quite suspicious. Can someone provide a reliable source that proves that data? If not, I may delete the weather box. UltraSnowstorm (talk) 17:26, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
