editUh, Breadner is no longer Vice-Principal of the school. It's G. Dagonas. I tried changing it but some idiot keeps changing it back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.244.224.18 (talk) 18:26, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Notable alumni
editCan somebody please put in footnotes or references for these people attended this school. A couple I checked aren't here. However, there's no reason to think that list is comprehensive. The school is mentioned in their respective articles, but those articles aren't sourced either. I'm not suggesting these people aren't really alumni (I expect they are), but when lots of school articles list lots of notable alumni without references, it's impossible for others to verify this without sources, and it's easier for mistakes to slip-in. Ideally, somebody who's never heard of the school, or these people, should still be able to verify the information. --rob 14:36, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
All of the alumni listed can be found on the Woburn Alumni website - which is linked to at the bottom - on the "Celebrity Students" page. --Languagevirus 02:20, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
Reach for the Top
editSorry folks - but whoever added all this info (I'm assuming its one of the members of the team who has his/her name listed there), it doesn't really belong. It's OK to state that the school won X and Y, but to go into detail about the season, ISN'T talking about Woburn, it's talking about the season that the Woburn Reach for the Top team had. The two aren't exactly the same, and I find the description very distracting and not helpful to the page at all. Thumbs down to whomever posted it. --14 of spades 06:32, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Um no one cares about opinion, ok? STFU fag, GTFO. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.12.105.175 (talk) 17:22, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
Well I suppose you care about (my) opinion, since you're the only person in 2 years to post a reply to my comment. Oh - and I notice you're not man-enough to post under your real I.D. So which one of the team members are you? I'm guessing the one with the massive insecurity issues, since you felt the need to superfluously advertise your name here on Wiki in order to over-compensate for your total lack of actual accomplishments. To boot, you even use expletives at me for outing your attempt to overcome your overt personal anxieties. Good one. Take this moment to reflect on your "High School Glory Days". I'm sure given your attitude, they're the best days you'll ever have. 14 of spades (talk) 12:51, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
ESP
editI deleted the thing about the ESP. Horrible grammar, no reference, and the fact that no one has EVER called them the leaders of the school... I've gone to Woburn a few years now, and I've never even heard of them... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.245.16.164 (talk) 05:40, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
- Nice. I've been wanting to get rid of that for a while, but I wasn't bold enough. Well, actually I thought the appropriate course of action was to try to improve that section. But now that I think about it ESP really isn't notable enough to deserve its own section on this page (after all there are dozens of Woburn clubs...) Bbi5291 (talk) 20:24, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
- If there was a section for clubs, it would fit in, but that section was just awful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.245.16.164 (talk) 22:08, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
School Song
editI don't know how to add this to the Wiki page, so I'm putting it here. It was written by a music teacher, Mr. Fowler. I assume it is still the school song. We played it at least until I graduated in 1980.
Cheer cheer for Woburn
Cheer with your might
Cheer for our colours
Red and blue and white
Fight fight fight
Go go you Wildcats
Show them why
We are the best
And we're from Woburn C.I.
Somewhere I have the sheet music. If I found it and scanned it, would it be added to the page?
this is no longer the school song but i believe that some of the verses are still in the new one. not sure. the new school song is "the wildcat song" and it is in all of the agendas given to the students. i don't have my agenda handy at the moment though so I can't put it up here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.165.170.168 (talk) 17:01, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
Staff
editthe article needs a staff section that is updated and expanded on a regular basis.
to start i may end up starting the section myself using the information on http://www.tdsb.on.ca/schools/index.asp?schno=4202&Status=L — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.165.170.168 (talk) 17:28, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
