I cited as much info as I could from the couple of sources I had available. So I got maybe fifty percent of the article cited. Can some good kind soul (or heck, maybe even a miserable wretch) finish it?

The name of the article should be changed to either William Lambert (with a link to a disambiguation page, if necessary) or William C. Lambert. Col. Lambert rarely, if ever, used his full name in public. His books were published under William C. Lambert. Newspaper articles usually referred to him as either William, William C., or Bill. He was also an occasional public speaker and he was usually introduced as either William, William C., or Bill.
