The article mentions Batz had 75 victories by the end of '43. In Toliver & Constable's biography of Erich Hartmann it is mentioned Batz had few victories before March of '44. Both this article and T&C agree he started combat in late '42. A reference should be cited for the current article's claim. T&C's claim does seem incredible.
