Names
editConsider renaming Red-billed Whistling Duck (Dendrocygna autumnalis) to Black-bellied Whistling Duck. It seems to be more of a common name for that species. Results of a Google search: "dendrocygna autumnalis" AND "black-bellied whistling duck" resulted in 2,310 hits while "dendrocygna autumnalis" AND "red-billed whistling duck" resulted in only 137 hits. --psyphyre 01:57, Aug 26, 2004 (UTC)

Dendrocygninae → Whistling duck — Request move to most frequent, and unambiguous, common name. If this page should go at a scientific name, it should be at the genus Dendrocygna, per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (fauna). Relisted.
