Walton-on-the-Hill → Walton-on-the-Hill, Surrey – No clear primary topic, the Surrey one has 310 views but the Staffordshire one has 44 and the Liverpool one has 1,616. Crouch, Swale (talk) 21:01, 29 September 2024 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). - So you'll be making a disambig page there? Why not make it first? Dicklyon (talk) 00:02, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
- Contesting. Walton, Liverpool apparently hasn't been called "Walton on the Hill" since 1922, so unlikely that people are looking for it by this name. Of the 666 page views last month for Walton-on-the-Hill, there were 12 clickthroughs to Walton, Liverpool. SilverLocust 💬 00:57, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Dicklyon and SilverLocust: Yes it should be a DAB page or redirect back to Walton. Crouch, Swale (talk) 11:45, 30 September 2024 (UTC)

- Oppose for the reason I contested the technical request at WP:RM/TR. (

- Support per nom. The Staffordshire village is actually larger. No indication that the Surrey village is primary topic per long-term significance. -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:09, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
- Support per nom and Necrothesp. I disagree with SilverLocust's statement because just because something is no longer referred a name/phrase as a WP:COMMONNAME doesn't mean it isn't still referred to by the old name in some contexts, especially historical.
