Most of the content in the previous version was transferred wholesale from the WPSU Website [1]. My God, does anyone here have any concept of copyright???????? Blueboy96 16:19, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Wikipedia community does care about and strives to avoid copyright infringement, but public education is a work in progress. Thanks, GChriss <always listening><c> 05:22, 3 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Proposed merge with WPSU-FM

edit

Although WPSU-TV and WPSU-FM are broadcast in different media, the source organization is exactly the same. (Compare to Fox News Radio in Fox News Channel, although not exactly analogous.) Thoughts/objections to merging the two under a new article entitled WPSU? The proposed merger would import content into WPSU-TV with a subsequent rename to WPSU. You should probably merge the other NPR/PBS stations as well (i.e. see WHYY, WQED, and WITF). These are also all the same organization operating both an FM and a TV outlet. What do you think?

To be consistent, it wouldn't just be NPR/PBS affiliates, it would have to be all cases where the same entity owns a radio and TV station in the same market (which might not have the same call letters). I wonder if it might be better here to have one article, titled "Penn State Public Broadcasting", with sections for the TV and radio stations, but also for other operations of that entity (such as production of educational materials and videos).Lisamh 23:32, 17 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

New logo required

edit

In 2018, WPSU changed its logo to show one that contains its callsign in all lower clase letters with a "play button" inside the P. J4lambert (talk) 00:16, 3 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
