Request to post info
editI've notice on wikipedia the success rate of you posting information is like %10. So Instead of doing that, I'll put the info on discussion and we can decide if it is notable and factual or not. Now, personally listening to vulgar display of power, I'll have to agree with this logic. But I want to hear everybodies opinion on this before posting. http://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=429519&listid=40036 70.119.201.161 (talk) 05:00, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
"Slowed down the tempos"???
editMost of these songs are still pretty damn fast. Have you ever listened to "Fucking Hostile" or "Rise?"
Yah, but have you ever heard "This love" or "Hollow"? Aaron Pepin
Yeah, but have you ever heard Cemetary Gates?--Jeff79 07:30, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- Ever heard songs like "Live in a Hole"? It is very similar to sludge metal in style. That's why i kept adding sludge metal to genre(s). And also, "Cemetery Gates" is from Cowboys from Hell --π₰₯ ĬLʡ$Φǚɭђµπt₴ŗ ₯₰π 11:10, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Songs used in Doom
editFor the song Mouth For War, it sounds exactly like the music used for E3M1 of Doom. I'd like to that as a trivia entry to the article. All I can find on that is in the main Pantera article under Miscellanea, it mentions that cover versions of their songs were used in the game. Would that suffice for inclusion in this article? CardinalFangZERO 06:28, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- Of course. Also, Bobby Prince sampled other Pantera songs, and all of them are from Vulgar Display of Power. Nufy8 06:39, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Regular People
editHey, does anyone know why its called Regular people Conceit? What does conceit mean? There is like no music video on Youtube, or any MIDI on the internet. Not much is known about this song. Can someone fill me in?
- It's called that because that's what they called it. You can easily find your answer in a dictionary. 65.189.210.173 05:35, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
The charts
editNot really related to editing the article, but don't you just love the Vulgar Display of Power peaked at #44 on the Billboard 200 albums chart line? Can you imagine all the utter shit that has ranked "higher"? Hilarious... yet so very sad.--Jeff79 07:28, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
Cover
editWho is the person being punched on the cover? I heard that was actually answered in some metal book before. --Somedude —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.229.76.133 (talk) 00:14, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

............... Here is an article in which Phil Anselmo explains the origin of the cover art. http://www.metalhammer.co.uk/news/phil-anselmo-on-the-vulgar-display-of-power-album-cover/ This is my first time posting anything on Wikipedia, so please cut me some slack if i did something wrong :)
- The mans name is a Sean Cross, i've added this into the article with a reference. - The1337gamer (talk) 14:23, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
