editI deleted the bit about Scarlett appearing in more Woody Allen movies than any actor since Mia. Judy Davis anyone (four since 1990)?
Does Joan Pera realy appear in the film?--Felixllopart (talk) 00:51, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
Doesn't the opening bit need changing? Surely it won the Golden Globe in 2009. 66.217.131.82 (talk) 04:26, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Copyvio?
editThis article seems to be based on this copyrighted article. http://www.pics24h.com/directors-and-actors/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vapour (talk • contribs) 08:10, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- Looks like the other way round. The link you gave was posted on February 7, 2009. The plot here is more than six months old. LeaveSleaves 17:57, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
I think a fair and interesting comment on the movie is being constantly deleted by someone (Sleaves?) for no legitimate reason. The comment is available at http://independentindian.com/2009/03/21/is-vicky-cristina-barcelona-referring-to-an-emasculation-of-elite-american-society/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seekers2008 (talk • contribs) 06:44, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

What's up with the narrator?
editI checked here because I was interested to know if there was any note about the voice of the narrator. It sounds a bit unusual - clipped - perhaps like it was spoken slowly and speeded up, so the words are normal but the gaps between them short - not at all natural.
Anyone know what's up with that? I don't know the answer to this, but if anyone does and thinks it's 'noteable', could they add it to the article (if not to this section here)?
Thanks --Mortice (talk) 22:00, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
What's up with the language here?
editA pretty fundamental premise of the film is its location (and Vicky's studies of "Catalan identity"), yet whenever the locals address each other in their presumably native language it happens consistenly in Castilian (Spanish) rather than Catalan. I don't think I heard the Catalan language once through the whole duration of the film. Even when Juan Antonio goes to visit his father in Oviedo he speaks Spanish and not the local Asturian. Not that Spanish is not understood in Asturias, but I think the language element deserves mentioning in the article. Anyone? 207.7.149.19 (talk) 04:42, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
- There would have to be some mention of that in some reliable source somewhere that we can cite. Otherwise, it's original research. - Station1 (talk) 08:40, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
- The majority of people in Asturias do not speak Asturian, and it is in decline. Catalan is the native language of roughly 35 percent of the Catalonian population. While there are many more second language speakers, the point is that there are plenty of people it Catalonia who do not speak Catalan, and have never spoken Catalan. Let it rest. 138.16.103.0 (talk) 18:33, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
