Spelling

edit

I have just sorted out the spelling in this article and a number of redirects to it. The singular is vena cava and the plural is venae cavae. I have checked this in three dictionaries (OED2, Merriam Webster online and Chambers). -- Heron

Yeah, i just did it quickly, thanks for sorting the spelling. :-) Tristanb 10:27 31 May 2003 (UTC)

Superior vs Inferior

edit

Someone should indicate which vena cava is larger (common sense tells me superior but I don't know so I won't say which is) Oven 03:13, 21 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's actually the inferior vena cava. The inferior vena cava has more space to cover. Source: http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/2000-07/963290200.An.r.html Shapular (talk) 12:49, 17 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'm speculating that superior and inferior may refer to their location rather than size. --Jamal WillsT/C 03:07, 4 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Numbered diagram?

edit

The text refers to numbers in the diagram, but the diagram is unnumbered. I guess it was replaced with a similar image. --Jamal WillsT/C 03:07, 4 October 2013 (UTC) have a nice day :D — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.24.51.1 (talk) 18:17, 17 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
