First paragraph of "River modifications" section is not sourced.
The origin of the river (first paragraph of "Course" section) is unclear and likely, incorrect. How can a river originate from a dam?
The Vellar Basin Report produced by GOI states the river to be produced by confluence of Anaimaduvu, Kallar, and Singipuram. Singipuram is not even mentioned in our article.
Link the many rivers (Chitraru, Kallar etc.) mentioned in the "Course" section. For those (Manjini, Ellar etc.) which don't have any article, provide footnotes describing the river in short.
The "Basin" section has one citation (at the end) with no page-numbers. Template:Sfn might be helpful.
The annual rainfall is averaged over how many years?
Vellar Estuary has been a prominent topic of scholarship, and something more can be written.
TrangaBellam, Starkenborgher, where does this stand? As far as I can determine, Starkenborgher's most recent Wikipedia edit was June 7, over two weeks before this review was opened. At this point, TrangaBellam, since nothing in your review has been addressed, it's probably time to close the review as having failed. If you want to give Starkenborgher a chance to respond to this ping, that's also fine, but if nothing has been heard by the end of the month, the review should be concluded. Thank you.
