In September 2024, the university celebrated its official grand opening.[1] Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati, referred to the campus as a “milestone for the city”[2] and Ontario’s Minister of Colleges and Universities, Nolan Quinn, described the university as a “hub for innovation and learning.”[3] The following month, in October 2024, the university welcomed its largest cohort to date, with over 1,000 students enrolled across two undergraduate and three graduate programs.[1] The university is projected to generate over 100 full-time jobs in the region.[4] APDuarteM (talk) 17:41, 8 November 2024 (UTC) APDuarteM (talk) 17:41, 8 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
