6th Engineer Regiment???
editThere's a link to this from the section on the Somme Defensive, but no mention in the main article at Operation Michael. No other mention of it in WP as far as I can see. No source for this mention. But the French 6th Engineers Regiment seems sometimes (not least in List of French Army regimentsto be called 6th Engineer Regiment, so there is now a redirect to that article. I don't know whether the US unit of that name exists/ed or whether this unsourced section has got it wrong. I leave it to one of you military experts to sort out - I just dropped by while stub-sorting something called 6th RG and went on from there. PamD (talk) 18:53, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
- I've turned the link back into a redlink by changing it to 6th Engineer Regiment (USA). If the article ever gets written, there'll need to be some hatnote or dab page to sort them both out. PamD (talk) 18:55, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Plagiarism and uncited sources abound
editOr is that obvious? A huge amount of this page is simply copied from http://www.history.army.mil/html/reference/army_flag/wwi.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shylocxs (talk • contribs) 21:54, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
Number of campaigns?
editLine one talks about 13 campaigns, and then there are 14 sections - is one of the 14 not officially counted?137.222.248.27 (talk) 18:29, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
Battle of Hamel?
editNo mention of Hamel (4 July 1918) where elements of the AEF were placed under Australian command and achieved America's first (as far as I can tell) offensive victory...? https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Battle_of_Hamel — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.166.232.162 (talk) 15:44, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- More a battle than a campaign, I would have thought... Flanker235 (talk) 12:38, 29 October 2022 (UTC)
