this article barely qualifies as a stub
editIt could certainly use expansion. For instance, Unlike most other phaser pedals, this is achieved without the use of op-amps. Okay... but so what? If the point is introduced, some tiny effort should be expended to justify its inclusion or it's just a "gosh-wow" bit of trivia. In any case, I've linked to the Operational amplifier article.
Why does Shin-ei not yet have an article? A few of their effects are considered classic, like the Shin-ei Companion FY-2 (a really terrible article title, IMO).

So exactly what effect is it?
editThe article says its a "phaser or phase shifter for creating chorus and vibrato simulations" although chorus and vibrato are quite distinct from each other and phase. The Uni-Vibe is quoted under both Phaser and Flanger as well as Leslie Speaker. My understanding is that it is a multiple phase-shift pedal and not a pitch modulator (chorus) or delay-shift (flanger) and was originally intended to simulate a Leslie speaker. Price?
editHow much was the original Uni-Vibe? 2600:1700:4773:D010:6489:960B:601D:9FF2 (talk) 11:14, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
