"Was given to the production plant as an etalon." What is an etalon in this context? -FZ 20:08, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- (Note:- Many people are confused by the designation ststem used in the late 1930's whereby the Aircraft designation was followed by the number and type of engines fitted. Thus the SB fitted with M-103 engines is properly designated SB 2M-103 and not SB-2M-103. There never was nor ever will be an SB-2!!!)Petebutt (talk) 09:19, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
Operational History section
editIf in June 1941, 94% of Soviet bombers were SBs, I would expect them to be used quite heavily in WW2. The operational history only lists use in the Spanish Civil war and the Far East - was it really not used against the German advance? --Stephan Schulz (talk) 08:43, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
- Yes it was used - Its just no-one has written about use against the Soviet invasion (or in the Winter War) yet.Nigel Ish (talk) 16:30, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
the 94% is a false VVS-KA bombers 1st june '41 (SB was no more in production so they can not up) SB 3376 DB-3 1956 TB-3 339 Pe-2 285 Ar-2 146 various 141 actually were 54% — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.22.161.214 (talk) 20:43, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
