Cockayne has this baronet dying in 1650 in Barbados. It's fairly well sourced however that Tufton was executed for treason in May 1631 in Barbados, after a brief time as governor of the island, through the machinations of his successor. His son, according to Cockayne, was born c. 1623, and could therefore have inherited the baronetcy, with the succession continuing as claimed in Cockayne, but the claim of the first baronet's death in 1650 is extremely suspect. 77.96.115.138 (talk) 17:42, 3 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
