Thank you, @Chlod, for making an article on the DOST-PAGASA tropical cyclone wind signals (TCWS). Actually, I wrote an article in the Waray language which gives a detailed explanation of the TCWS in the Waray language (my mother tongue). Hi, @Nairb.Idi9, and thank you for your contributions! I noticed a few paragraphs in Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals § Issuance that don't have citations. If you can, please do add citations, as they're vital in ensuring that the content is accurate. In addition, I have archives of old bulletins at User:Zoomiebot/Archives/PAGASA and old signal map images at File:2020 PAGASA Ulysses TCWS levels.png and File:2020 PAGASA Rolly TCWS levels.png (specifically this specific version of the latter image) which may be better examples to use (particularly Rolly's bulletin, since it held TCWS #5 prior to the 2022 revision). @Chlod I was about to add citations, but I placed the paragraphs first and planned on adding the citations later. I'm currently busy with some workload that I forgot to add the citations. Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals → Philippines tropical cyclone wind signals – I recommend a name change to "Philippines tropical cyclone wind signals" to prevent confusion with the Hong Kong one. This would make sense as PAGASA is seperate from any other source. Also in Hong Kong there was a thing called “Local Strong Wind Signal”, naming it just "Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals" makes it confusing. Also in the Winaray version of this page, it translates to "Typhoon Warnings In The Philippines", naming it something like that is less confusing. 120.28.224.231 (talk) 14:56, 23 November 2023 (UTC)

Oppose. "Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals" is the common name used by much (if not all) of Philippine media, and is the official name for this system. Avoiding confusion is not one of the article titling criteria. As for the proposed name, we do not rename articles to less concise titles because it may cause confusion; instead, we disambiguate or use hatnotes (of which there already is one on the page). "Local Strong Wind Signal", nor HKO's official name for the system, "Tropical Cyclone Warning Signals", are not exactly named "Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals".
