Spelling
editThe Hungarians spelled it Trencsen. Part of my family was from Adamovske Kohanovce (Adamocz, before WW I) and I have rsearched this a bit.

- They still do (or rather Trenscén, with an accent on the second e): on the other hand, this article is about an administrative district of present-day Slovakia, so the Slovak spelling is more appropriate (the two pronunciations are very similar). Physchim62 (talk) 11:38, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
