Besançon tramway → Trams in Besançon – Article was moved from Trams in Besançon by Niamor12 in April 2020 without discussion or comment. The general, usual titling "format" for articles such as these is "Trams in [city]", especially when the article is an overall historical overview of tram use in the city (as this article seems to be), unless the tramway has an actual "title" of some sort, which does not appear to be true in this case. Regardless, there should be some consensus reached as to whether Trams in Besançon or Besançon tramway is the preferable title for this article. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 00:04, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
- Support move, per nom. The French title is Tramway de Besançon which may have influenced the 2020 mover; but regardless, WP:CONSISTENT appears to apply here, the former title was WP:PRECISE and common, and even if the current title could be a synonym, there was no reason to override the previous title, especially not with a unilateral, unexplained change. It should be moved back. Mathglot (talk) 22:44, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
