Relevance for this ever-ballooning article?
editTrying to figure out how this article is of any relevance. I see a former mayor of this town from 25 years ago on the Recent Deaths page, linking here. No offense, but if every suburb of 26,000 people and their entire lineage of past mayors all were notable enough to warrant this attention - there would be no room for anything else?
Someone's gotta get a handle on this if editorial efforts on Wikipedia are going to return to the numbers of past years. Clearly, this needs to be merged with the town page and condensed to only information meeting Wikipedia guidelines. The textual information is several times the size of the Boston Mayors page, which is a worthy article.
Perhaps I've missed something in the notoriety here. Otherwise, it seems like someone, the user who has made 98% of the over 500 edits to this page over years - is a bit overzealous on the encyclopedic nature of their little town's government.
Looking at the motion to delete from 2012, the conclusion was to keep on the basis that the citations are reliable. Come on, anything can garner a list of reliable citations. Does that make it encyclopedic? Trep26 (talk) 22:23, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
