Fair use rationale for Image:Logo-ut1.gif

edit

Image:Logo-ut1.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:19, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

COI editing

edit

I’ve added a {{Connected contributor (paid)}} notice to the top of this talk page, and I’m about to tag the article with {{COI}}. I’m adding this tag as the page has been edited by a user with a paid-contribution disclosure, and — at present — the article does not read to me as having been written completely from a neutral point of view, and also (in my opinion) reads at least a little as an advert.

I just stumbled upon this page and am not familiar with this topic area, so I do not feel suitably qualified to modify the article myself - hence the addition of the maintenance tag. A smart kitten (talk) 13:22, 22 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello again A smart kitten,
I see I should have responded to you here. Thank you for your message and information, which I have read with attention. I would welcome your thoughts on why the text is not neutral or reads like an advert. I have consulted other university websites before adding the information I have added so to respect Wikipedia standards.
I would appreciate if you would remove the tag while we continue this discussion.
Sincerely,
LauraHartwell UT1 LauraHartwell UT1 (talk) 13:16, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hello Smart Kitten,
I do not see a reply to my response of two months ago. I suggest removing the information below so that the page does not read as an advertisement. Also, would someone please review the honorary doctorats proposal in the follow talk topic as this information is of general internation interest. I do not know who added the information that sounds like an advertisement and whose removal should resolve the COI issue:

  • International Management (Master's)
  • Finance (Master's)
  • International Marketing of Innovation (Master's, double degree)

Please remove Tags

edit

Hello,

There is currently a tag at the top of the page noting "close connection" and advertising. I have consulted the information on proposing modifications through the talk option in order to avoid any conflict of interest. I have also suggested new content using this option. Please remove the tag about the "close connection" concerning me. Also, I have requested of the author to know what is considered advertising. Please remove message why the person is answering.

Thank you,

LauraHartwell UT1 LauraHartwell UT1 (talk) 13:11, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

A contribubotor removed the information concerning the public European project Engage. Engage is a consortium of European universities attempting to address international challenges, including climate change, digital transformation, etc. This is not an advertisement, this is a serious academic response with no financial profit. The Wikipedia page for Engage/Université européenne exists in French, but not in English. I have added the link in the text. I hope that Wikipedia will reconsider restoring the information below.

Since 2020, the University of Toulouse Capitole is a member of the European University Engage.eu which aims to provide citizens and students with the necessary skills to meet the major societal challenges already underway (migration, aging population, digital transformation...). This Université européenne brings together European partners in order to provide high quality education, common curricula and increased student mobility, as well as a European research network. The consortium of this project is composed of six other universities: University of Mannheim (Germany), Luiss Guido Carli (Italy), NHH Norwegian School of Economics (Norway), Tilburg University (Netherlands), University of National and World Economy (Bulgaria), and Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria).
