Date of song

edit

This song was created in 1975, but I have categorized it as a 1980 song since that is when it was published.Bellczar (talk) 02:09, 25 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

The song was published in 1975, so I think that is wrong and I've changed it accordingly. (To say it wasn't published until 1980 is a very US-centric view!) I think you could also make a case that it is a 1984 song, since it was a #1 hit in that year. Szarka (talk) 21:25, 31 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

This must be a wrong date, since the Smothers Brothers sang it in their late 1960's show: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=tom+smothers+youtube&t=osx&pn=1&ia=web 67.1.166.107 (talk) 02:50, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
See about 11 minutes into the video of the Smothers Brother's show https://duckduckgo.com/?q=tom+smothers+youtube&t=osx&pn=1&ia=web 67.1.166.107 (talk) 02:51, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
shoot I can't get a link for the actual recording. It is the Youtube video entitled Smothers "Michael Row the Boat Ashore". The one with 229K views. 67.1.166.107 (talk) 02:56, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
