Need for Citation

"A participant in the dazzling New York society life, one historian

described him as a man of both "good works and good times."

Who was the historian and what was the source?

Psychoanalysis Appropriate?

edit

The article seems to weigh on the psychological relationship between Sr. and Jr. I do not know that is appropriate, but if it is, it should be noted that Jr. abandoned his newborn daughter, Alice (later Mrs. Nicholas Longworth) so that he could "find himself" after the death of his mother and wife, so the trait of ducking responsibility (either by avoiding service in the Civil War or otherwise) may have been part of the family's genetic makeup.John Paul Parks (talk) 18:41, 26 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Francisco?

edit

Why is Theodore's name given as "Francisco" in the text, without any explanation? 2601:601:4100:9390:F938:1822:5A35:43DF (talk) 06:03, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

The text also omits the month of September from his birth date, and also refers to his son, President Theodore Roosevelt, as "Francisco." It looks as if this entry has been maliciously edited. 2601:601:4100:9390:F938:1822:5A35:43DF (talk) 06:09, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
