I don't think the film version of The Trip, which is just an edited version of the TV series, deserves its own separate article. Anyone want to persuade me otherwise before I merge them? Popcornduff (talk) 19:20, 2 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
I agree; all the information about the film version should just be under a sub-heading in the article on the TV series. It's daft having two separate articles which duplicate a bunch of info when it should all be together. Were the film a remake from whole cloth, there might be an argument for a separate article, but it's not. It's the same footage edited differently, is all. Merge away, good sir! 90.221.168.16 (talk) 20:06, 23 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

I think certain subplots should be mentioned and the general plot expanded upon. For instance, the character of Steve's son, Joe, is never mentioned in this article even though he is credited and has an entire subplot focused on him (with Steve trying to get in touch with him numerous times throughout the series, eventually succeeding and having a fairly long chat). 86.151.117.141 (talk) 17:28, 3 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
Ah, I think I get it. They're films but when you watch them they are divided into little series where they visit different hotels and places. Is that right? If so, we could make that clear in the articles. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:15, 16 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
