Timeline of housewives
editI've made a number of corrections to the "Timeline of housewives" table in order to make the table comply with our policies and guidelines. As briefly explained in my edit summaries,[1][2][3][] the edits were made to make the table comply with:
- MOS:ACCESS/MOS:DTT - Wikipedia articles are required to be accessible to all readers, including those with vision problems. Addition of "plainrowheaders" and column and row scopes makes tables readable by screen readers used by people with vision issues, including the blind. As part of the edit to provide this compliance, table formats were cleaned up.
- MOS:BOLD, MOS:CAPS - Content is bolded only under certain circumstances and headings use sentence case, not title case. The bolding and upper case used in the table did not comply with MOS:BOLD or MOS:CAPS, which is why it was removed.
While fixing the table I noticed a number of formatting errors related to column widths. In short, the numbers didn't add up, so I fixed this issue in this edit, as well as fixing a MOS:CAPS that I had missed earlier. As part of the edits that I made, I converted the table to use {{cMain}} and {{cRecurring}}, which are templates created specifically for such tables. While there is no mandated requirement to use these, it does not make sense not to use them. I've also added an editor's note to the top of the table explaining that the table has been updated to comply. --AussieLegend (✉) 17:10, 21 October 2014 (UTC) However, I've been reverted.[4] --AussieLegend (✉) 19:21, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
Season 10 Updates
editConsidering that there have been many edits featuring sources from respectable sites such as TV Guide, US Weekly, E! News, and even housewives themselves regarding the casting for season 10, and it has consistently been reverted, what more has to be done to make to where these edits are not reverted? Rider K85 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 03:09, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
- First of all, respectability of those sites is questionable. Also, those sites do not actually confirm the casting news. Us weekly[5] says "The network, meanwhile, has not confirmed to Us who will be returning or joining the cast in season 10." So it means the news are very speculative based on rumors, tweets and old interviews. The article on E! Online[6] includes phrases such as "has recently started filming and the intention is for her to become a castmember" or "an eyewitness spotted Heather Dubrow and Terry Dubrow filming." Nothing about them signing to be on the show. The article on TV Guide[7] is based on Radar Online[8] page where they again rely on what an insider has spotted in a hoedown party. Gossips and nothing more, which I'm sure are not suitable for Wikipedia. You cannot add new possible housewives into a cast section because they simply are not casted. The best thing is just to wait for a report from Bravo, I think. Mymis (talk) 05:11, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

== :-(OMG!) Meghan King Edwards ==
I am a huge fan of ALL the housewives<3 'Except-1' Meghan! :-( Thank-god we no longer have to be left feeling pissed'off whenever we had to watch that stuck-up little brat!!. She couldnt be more annoying! I really don't know how the lady's put up with her. I am a single mother to one(14yr old)child/boy. It took me 24yrs to concieve naturally. I hated seeing how easy it was to become pregnant if u have endless amounts of cash! If only she gave a second of thought to all the women who dont have a rich family or fella to pay for it!! Anyway, she made my blood boil! I love all the other lady's tho<3 The show is so much more enjoyable now. I've never missed a single episode.xxx

Previously, this page linked to other Housewives franchises in order of chronology in the Chronology section of the information box, making it easy to navigate to Wikipedia articles about other Housewives shows. This has recently been removed. I recommend adding this back for functionality. 72.177.6.74 (talk) 02:44, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
- Not done for now: I could not immediately find a revision of this article where this is the case (I went back to August last year). Could you provide either a revision (i.e. a link to a diff from the version history) where this was included or state your suggestion in a specific "change X to Y" format? Actualcpscm (talk) 10:08, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
- The Infobox previously had a “Chronology” section at the bottom, where “Related” is now. It included “Followed by” and “Related shows”. “Followed by” is no longer included in the infobox, and “Related shows” is now in the place of “Chronology”. I can’t see the updates to the info box in Version History, but do see it on the Wayback Machine for this page: [9]https://web.archive.org/web/20220601080751/http://en.m.wiki.x.io/wiki/The_Real_Housewives_of_Orange_County 72.177.6.199 (talk) 00:48, 26 April 2023 (UTC)
- I have to agree that having a chronology section would be a nice feature. Most readers coming would benefit from gaining additional navigation to other housewife franchises. Eruditess (talk) 21:07, 29 October 2023 (UTC)

"In the cast section, Meghan King Edmonds is incorrectly stated to be a 'Guest'. Meghan's first appearance was as a 'Main' cast member in Season 10. Please remove the reference to 'Guest' in Season 9. Benwigz (talk) 12:09, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
