What band

edit

"Jon Vitti, who is related to the drummer of the band.." Which band? SPinal tap? The studio band for "The Simpsons"? Should be clarified. Ethel Aardvark 07:44, 20 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

Recent revision

edit

On August 6, 2009, this article was reverted by an editor (another person's edits were reverted). This included several sourced statements in this article (using what were reliable sources, including commentary from The Simpsons Season 3 DVD, whereas the article is now completely unsourced. Certainly, the article in User:03md's format wasn't perfect, but from what I saw, it was acceptable. Unless there is good rationale to not include these edits (there was nothing in the edit summary), it should be reverted back to 03md's version. I reverted. It looked like some nice additions. - Peregrine Fisher (talk) (contribs) 15:20, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. And I agree that the article is surely not perfect, and could always use more sourcing and sourced additions — not so that it's overwhelming, but that it can be brought up to perhaps good article status. [[Briguy52748 (talk) 15:44, 6 August 2009 (UTC)]]Reply
It can use all the sourced info it can get, becuase there isn't going to be that much. I think 03md might be going for GA, although I'm not totally sure. - Peregrine Fisher (talk) (contribs) 16:52, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I've reviewed this in accordance with April's GAN Backlog Elimination Drive, and have placed it on hold until the below issue can be fixed. Good luck. The Flash I am Jack's complete lack of surprise 02:23, 7 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Very few issues here. In Lead:

  • Add the overall number of the episode (i.e., and 57th episode overall)
  • The current intro is the one used on pretty much every other episode page. It's overall number isn't really that relevant, and it's already in the infobox.
  • Wikilink to Bart.
  • Done.
  • "and Spinal Tap was ranked as the 18th best guest appearance by IGN." -> "guest appearance on the show by IGN."
  • Done.

In Plot:

  • Wikilink to Snake.
  • Done.
  • Wikilink to Marge.
  • Wikilink to Homer.
  • Homer and Marge are already linked in the lead.
  • "even considers faking his own death." → "and even considers[...]"
  • Done.

Homer's car songs

edit

"Spanish Flea" is indeed the second song he sings, but what about the non-lyrical one he hums before that? I don't think they're the same song. It does sound familiar, though.. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 20:12, 2 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
