Biased Quotes

edit

When you get "facts" from a biased party, such as a Shane Douglas interview, be sure to state that. Do not present something as fact when it is simply a statement provided by a biased observer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.119.34.86 (talk) 02:11, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

HHH

edit

HHH was not a core member of the clique, he did not even join the WWF until mid 95 and whene he did he was in lower mid-card doing things like the Hog pen mach. He was a friend but that was it at the time.

    • Re: Perhaps HHH wouldnt be considered a "founding member" of the Clique, but he definitely became a core member of them. There are more events/evidence to support the fact that he indeed was a core member than there is to prove that he was only 'on the fringes' like Credible was

what evidents is that, even though he is powerful today he was a low mid-carder back thene. if you include HHH you should alo include montoya whos states was equal to HHH's back thene.

    • Re: Off the top of my head, the MSG incident, and there's the picture right on the Clique's page, in which Credible is a part of neither while Triple H was a part of both. Then there's the fact that Triple H was slowly rising (unlike Credible) through WWF ranks, in which could be attributed to him being a Clique member (due to what they were accused of). Also, unlike Credible once again, Triple H is still considered close with the others (except Waltman due to the Chyna matter). Using the sole fact that Triple H started as a lower-mid carder when he arrived to the WWF doesnt prove he wasnt a core member, especially considering the others were already big minus Waltman. Going by that theory, Waltman wouldnt be considered a core member either.

The story is, I believe, that Aitch carried the bags for the Kliq, and therefore "got in" with them very easily that way. Onslaught Six 04:06, 20 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash became friends in 1993, and by 1994 it was obvious that Hall and Waltman were now in the circle. Levesque joined WWF in early 1995. I think the fact is that these men were all friends and looked out for eachother. It waa not about who was "a core member" or not, it was about friendship.MFuture 03:04, 30 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

New Picture

edit

I was wondering if there should be a new picture (at the top), as in the current one Hunters face is obscured by Nashs' hand. Your thoughts?

  • Re: Well, that does seem like the perfect Clique picture minus the fact that Nash is covering HHH's face. If there is a better one out there, then maybe it could be replaced, I mean its not like you cant tell that its HHH in the picture...

Sunny was HBK's girlfriend?

edit

Since when. She was seeing Chris Candido before she came to the WWF and was seeing Candido when they both left the WWF. Sunny was never involved with HBK. - Draven Cage 12/01/07 @ 19.20 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 193.113.48.9 (talk) 19:20, 12 January 2007 (UTC).Reply

Tammy talks about it extensively in her Highspots.com shoot interview (http://www.highspots.com/product.asp?id=14450). She was dating Shawn behind Chris Candido's back, during a period when she & Chris were on the outs. --SHODAN 03:18, 26 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Sunny brifly dated HBK in late 96 well after the clique broke up she was not a member and was never called the clique chick —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rafff18 (talkcontribs) 07:49, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Scott Hall in the Legends Program

edit

Can we get some sort of reference or source stating this is true? This is the first time I've heard of it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.5.251.65 (talk) 08:12, 20 February 2007 (UTC).Reply

This was confirmed last year. Hence there being new Razor Ramon figures including a new one released this past month. --Endlessdan 14:20, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Let's Make This Better

edit

Simply put, there's too much extraneous stuff here. At least one-third of the material here could be removed. It's just too much redundancy, trivial details and insignificant condition. Let's make it shorter and more concise, ok? Yakuman 03:42, 23 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Can the popularization of the crotch chop and the sideways point be attributed to the Clique as well?

Unlike the "Wolfhead" used by the nWo, the crotch chop did not originate with the Clique, but with DX. Also, the sideways point was inovated by the nWo, not the Clique. (Sawyer 04:58, 4 October 2007 (UTC))Reply
Syxx was the first to do the crotch chop. --Endless Dan 17:03, 26 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Correct me if im wrong, Syxx (Waltman in the WCW/WWO) didn't do crotch chops in an x fashion, the arms never crossed, and it wasnt until DX where they had the x pattern? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.168.246.49 (talk) 08:10, 16 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

KLIQ tights

edit

That pic that is supposed to be Hall in "KLIQ" tights circa. 2002 WWE. Carlito is pictured there and he wasn't even in WWE then. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.193.14.144 (talk) 07:04, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

KLIQ tights explained
That pic wasn't from the WWE. Scott Hall wrestles for Carlos Colon Sr.'s promotion in Puerto Rico. Carlito is Colon's son. So they probably wrestled each other in the Puerto Rico promotion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.129.205.199 (talk) 05:16, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bret Hart

edit

Bret was asked to join the Kliq. Now had he did, the Montreal Screwjob would have never happened. The King Gemini (talk) 06:46, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

The "Kliq"

edit

If I'm not mistaken, the "Kliq" was the nickname Shawn Michaels gave to his fan base, much like John Cena and his "Chain Gang." The "Clique" was the name of the backstage group. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tone E Atlas (talkcontribs) 03:06, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Michaels spells it as "Kliq" in his autobiography when referring to the backstage group. ♥NiciVampireHeart03:13, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Justin Credible

edit

While it's been debated by fans altogether, Credible himself said he was in the Kliq. Maybe a small mention of him should be included? KP McZiggy (Allow Me To Introduce Myself...) 06:25, 19 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
