Chronology
editThe chronology follows the order of release in the US. This was released in summer 1976 in the UK, before First Cut Is The Deepest. Is it worth rearranging the chronology, or following two timelines: one for the US and one for the UK? I would suggest the latter. --Matt Westwood 09:49, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
Piffle
editOh come on! Really, how important in the grand encyclopaedic scheme of things is the opinion of some non-entity on some backwater radio show hosted by some b-list celeb? --Matt Westwood 19:11, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
Vandalism
editThe song tells the life story of football pundit Garth Crooks, a gay friend of Rod Stewart.
This biographical detail is mentioned nowhere else in the article; and assuredly not in the article belonging to Crooks himself, who is very much alive. A recent edit, dated 5th November 2023 (five days before the time of writing this), I believe this is Vandalism. I therefore intend to delete all reference to the sportsman mentioned in it.
