Notability
edit@Piotrus: I'm finding some decent evidence for notability here, mostly via book snippets where people discuss the story's themes. There are also some things like this that I can't determine if they're about the story or not. If it is notable enough I'm going to have to create manual citations for each translation. Not really fun, but I can't justify using the sci-fi database since it's user submitted. (I discovered that after reviewing the source for the last short story I was working on.) - It's admittedly not sparking a ton of joy with me as far as what I've found so far. It's likely enough to justify keeping, probably, but it's underwhelming after the treasure trove I uncovered with the last story. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 11:15, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
- This has a bit about the story in one of the pieces prefacing the stories. Can't see enough to state who is making the claim, though. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 11:21, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
- On a side note, this short story would actually be covered under the criteria I am hoping to propose and get accepted at NBOOK, as it was republished in a 1984 academic press. It's not 10 years after, but the fact that it was put out by an academic press is surprising. So far I'm noticing that only an extremely few stories are actually republished by anything other than a mainstream or indie publisher. - Meh, this could muster a keep for me at AfD but it wouldn't be something I'd feel super solid about. There's enough to justify notability for me, but it's just well... meh. Still, if they do continue Electric Dreams here's hoping they adapt this. It'd make for an interesting tale, to say the least.
