I'm actually aware of Wikipedia policies actually contrary to what you're trying to imply. The level of detail in the notes is not beyond a plot summary which is why cite episode exists. However, for the sake of upholding these notes which are necessary, I'm more than willing to add external sources myself. --RealLifed (talk) 02:47, 30 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Template:Cite episode/doc (what you linked as "cite episode") is an explanation of a template, it does not say what you think it does. For this sort of pop culture thing theres generally in-depth coverage of each episode from the entertainment media, I would suggest using that. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 02:50, 30 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
@RealLifed: Unless you get consensus those notes are going bye-bye, I suggest you get moving on that. At least make an argument for including them. Also stop edit warring, your ownership of this page is becoming disruptive. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 15:51, 4 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
I'm not edit warring. You wanted sources and I gave them to you, you wanted actual sources other than the episode, I gave them to you. The reason for their inclusion is to explain anomalies such as disqualifications and injuries. There is already a consensus because every season of the show lists when contestants are injured or disqualified and no one has disputed them until you for this one specific season. Also there is no policy regarding the length or volume of footnotes.--RealLifed (talk) 16:27, 4 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
You edit warred with me and you are currently edit warring with that IP and Eriru. Thats not how consensus works, implied consensus ends the moment it is challenged and from that moment on it requires an explicit consensus. That being said I do appreciate the effort you put into sourcing the notes, most of them look good even if I think that many would work better incorporated into the body. Are you unwilling to try to come to a consensus? Horse Eye's Back (talk) 16:33, 4 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
I gave my reason for reverting their edits. Also I am more than willing to reach a consensus but you're trying to do everything you can not to reach one by demanding sources then threatening to delete the notes because "no consensus is reached" after I added the sources. There's no consensus to delete the notes either and I will continue to stand by my edits. Have a nice day.--RealLifed (talk) 16:42, 4 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Actually on second thought I really don't care anymore if you want to delete them go ahead I'm not wasting my energy anymore. If that was your plan to begin with, then congratulations.--RealLifed (talk) 16:57, 4 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
