I removed an incorrect statement about The Second 2i's Club at 44 Gerrard Street. A club was located at that location in 1956, but it was called Fourty-Four Skiffle & Folksong Club, and its connection, if any, to Lincoln is unclear. This information is sourced from the book Roots of the Revival and from the Guardian. If anyone has further info, please add or correct. Noralambert (talk) 15:52, 12 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

It seems this place deserves an entry, but I can't provide any more details. It is part of British music industry history. Can anybody else add? --Richhoncho 20:02, 10 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

This page name is wrong - it should be the 2i's NOT 2I's. Thanks. Vera, Chuck & Dave 14:26, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have added a little and put in some extra sources. Georgie sydney 16:11, 3 September 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Georgie sydney (talkcontribs)

Major article available if someone can help me get it on Wikipedia

edit

I wrote a lengthy two-part article, based on literally months of research at the British Library and interviews, on the 2i's. It was published in Record Collector January and February 2007 editions, but it is not available through them online. However, I have published the full unedited version online at MySpace. If you google my name and MySpace, you should find the link. But it seems MySpace links are blacklisted, so I can't add it here.

If anyone is willing to rake through the material I amassed and extend this entry, then fantastic, please feel free (I'd rather not do it myself, though I'd appreciate a credit somewhere!)

Thanks

Interesting, but needs a reference and NPOV

"Did you know that !Little Richard` was refused a `set` by Paul! he said go dye you hair pink or something and may consider you! So he went out and did just that - then got a platform gig."

Although this is interesting, it needs to be verified with a reference and re-written in a neutral tone. SteveRamone 04:37, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
