History Section
editI wanted to look up the history of the Texas DPS, when it was founded, what the process was for founding it, why it covers the responsibilities that it does, whether other states are organized similarly, etc. I feel like that would be an appropriate section to incorporate into this article. 107.5.154.127 (talk) 21:35, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Outdated References
editOf the 8 links on the reference page, only 2 work, the rest lead to websites where the articles no longer exist. The FBI press release links are also outdated and redirect users to the FBI home page. Also the whole section of "History" is completely blank and requires additional content. The gallery page should also be updated to include pictures of police uniforms, vehicles, and equipment used in the Texas Highway Patrol since this is the most common and noticeable division.
