- The key issue has to do with the doubts regarding the actual location of this (very poorly) documented ancient :city, which (location) could be other than the currently "accepted" one. The inclusion of the legend is in the :spirit of the original source, namely Pausanias.

editThe section A closer look at Pausanias' visit to Teuthis looks like contains the thoughts of the article writer about the description provided by Pausanias. Also the conclusion also seems to contain previously unpublished thoughts ("it is obvious that only systematic excavations can put an end to the doubts"). C messier (talk) 08:28, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
