Olympic Debut
editThe claim that they are the first ice dance team to win gold in their Olympic debut is clearly false. The team that won the gold medal in the inaugural event in 1976 were also making their Olympic debut. SO even thoough the Russian team in 1976 were 5-time World Champions at that point they were clearly the first team to win a gold in their first Olympic appearance. I have adjusted the phrase from "also the first ice dancer to win gold on their Olympic debut" to "also the first ice dancers to win gold on their Olympic debut since the inaugural Olympic Ice Dance event in 1976." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.81.134.146 (talk) 23:13, 25 March 2010 (UTC) excuse me? they know better thn you.....duhh

Page error
editIn the 2005-2008 section of the article, the words "edit" "edit" "edit" edit" appear over the first line of that section, as if the page were incorrectly aligned or something. AlbertSM (talk) 19:39, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- It happens when infoboxes span beyond sections. I'm pretty sure it's a known bug; you can find out how to check and report by looking at this page. -- Flyguy649 talk 20:04, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
Merge with Scott Moir Page?
editLooking at the two pages, it seems like everything is redundant. The only differences are the biographies, height, and some quotations. Since they compete together, it seems more useful to have both their pages merged. They even share the same website! They haven't differentiated themselves enough, at least professional and publicly other than being two individual people, that readers would find interesting or useful to have separate pages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.98.145.175 (talk) 06:01, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
- It is customary to keep two separate pages for pairs and ice dancers, even though most of the information is redundant. Seameetsmountain (talk) 05:37, 27 February 2016 (UTC)

Virtue/Moir perform their signature lift "the Goose"
editThere are two similar photos of 'their signature lift'. It would be a good idea to remove one.--Brenont (talk) 04:46, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
Personal Life -Education
editVirtue studied psychology at the University of Windsor in 2007 and reference added she studied in 2007, big question is why tag [when?] is come up again , dose't make any sense , — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.151.34.31 (talk)
- The 'when' tag follows the word "currently" in the statement "and is currently completing her degree at ..." - it isn't clear from the article when she was studying for the degree or whether she has now completed it. JezGrove (talk) 22:24, 20 February 2018 (UTC)

Marriage claims
editSee Talk:Morgan_Rielly#Marriage for a discussion about recent unsourced claims of their marriage. Meters (talk) 09:17, 5 August 2023 (UTC)
- Its not a claim. They were married in tuscany in july 2023. The florist confirmed it with a since deleted post on instagram. Both of them have also since been photographed wearing wedding bands. 2001:48F8:3026:BD6:9D26:7BBD:AB6F:16A3 (talk) 22:01, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
- Again, see the discussion on the linked page. Meters (talk) 07:55, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- There is now an included source showing that the couple has publicly announced their marriage, so WP:BLPPRIVACY is no longer an issue. Meters (talk) 22:24, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
