Notability
editThe subject is a newly elected MP; what exactly are the grounds for deletion? Mattythewhite (talk) 01:31, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- Although I didn't nominate the article, I believe it may be because the article does not establish what makes her notable (CSD A7). Although she is an elected MP, there are currently 649 other people who are as well. I reccomend fleshing out her biography a bit more, add the party vote scandal bit as well. Or wait and until she gets a job in the party or starts working in the constituency and write on that. Ryan4314 (talk) 03:39, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- The article as tagged made a credible (and sourced) assertion of importance or significance, namely membership of a national legislature (deemed notable per WP:POLITICIAN). Whether that assertion were true or not, tagging as WP:CSD#A7 is inappropriate. Struway2 (talk) 09:09, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- I agree with you there, perhaps a PROD tag would've been more suitable. However, that'd be void now as an editor has refuted deletion. If the nominator still seeks deletion, they'll have to start an AFD. Ryan4314 (talk) 14:50, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
Are you a relative? All you seem to do Matty is try and delete the truth about her Brexit vote. BrexitTruth (talk) 16:23, 29 March 2019 (UTC)
