Hello! I'll be reviewing this article using the table below - comments to follow soon. This article is on the shorter side but I see this is the case with other articles about roller coasters, and expanding the theme park article to include all relevant detail about each coaster would make it far too long. If I have any concerns about breadth whilst doing the review I'll let you know. I look forward to reviewing! Unexpectedlydian♯4talk 10:32, 9 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

1. Well-written:
1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct.

Very well-written. Will not mark this section as complete yet in case further changes are made to the prose.

1b. it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation.

Words to watch

  • See section 2b regarding the phrase "causing it to stand out among the roller coasters of Darien Lake".

List incorporation

2. Verifiable with no original research:
2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline.
  • I've made a few minor edits to change citation formats (ensuring all information shows correctly) and adding some dates of sources.
  • All information is correctly cited in appropriate layout.

2b. reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose).

Stevenson, John.

  • The trains are four across with two rows Is this inferred from the article's pictures?
  • The ride features green track with orange supports, causing it to stand out among the roller coasters of Darien Lake. I believe this info comes from the quote from Andreas Simonis. Could you change the text in the article so that it is directly quoting him? The Blooloop article says that he is one of the managing directors of Gerstlauer Amusement Rides, so you could add that in. Otherwise I'd argue this description is verging on being too opinionated for a Wiki article.

Anstey, Evan (November 13, 2017).

Owens, Howard.

  • Tantrum opened as the first roller coaster in New York state to feature a beyond-vertical drop Just checking - in the source it states "the first of its kind in NY State". Is the "kind" a beyond-vertical drop?

2c. it contains no original research.
  • All information is cited. I am content from spot checks that there has been no OR.

2d. it contains no copyright violations or plagiarism.

3. Broad in its coverage:
3a. it addresses the main aspects of the topic.
  • As mentioned, this article is short but I am happy that it covers the main aspects of the topic: background, opening, technical aspects.

3b. it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style).
  • The article remains focussed on the subject.

  4. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each.
  • The article content is presented neutrally.

  5. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute.
  • No evidence of edit-warring or instability. Majority of edits by size are by nominator.

6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
6a. media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content.
  • The infobox image is tagged with a copyright status (even if it's GNU GPL rather than creative commons, which is a bit odd but ok!).

6b. media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions.
  • Image is of the article subject.

  7. Overall assessment.
